I don't think so pawn, its most likely gonna be fire/psychic, there is also come controversy as some people are interpenetrating fennekin's move to be psycho cut meaning it will be physical or psyshock meaning it will be special. For me I am hoping for physical. I also really like the cat. Like this cat is gonna be on my team likeable. Also new typing for x and y look awsome! Rock/dragon? yes please! also ingame spoiler

Analyzing the picture, it looks like there is another line of pokemon underneath the ones from gen 6. Your reliable source is keeping secrets from you. Also, silly Pawn I agree with Chrono, just cause it stands on two legs, it doesn't mean its fire/fighting. And once again I must stress how disappointed I am with Chespin's evolution. And I was really excited for the grass Pokemon of this generation too.

inb4 most of these megas go to ubers and we're all forced to play that meta game. Hmm, this might be alright.

IDC for the Mega-Evos, but I am really hoping for more steel types (Have you seen how few steels there really are out there?) I don't think we would be too bad with the blastoise being a steel type.

As for finally getting steel-ghost, they let me down. They clearly don't understand the concept that most ghost types should already be immune to ground...

Well its already immune to mostly everything besides ground/fire, so why complain? The only pokemon with no weakness is spiritomb and sableye, with no weaknesses on a potentially good pokemon its no fun.

Im liking that list for megas and chespins evo could have been better but meh. Its not that bad. Froakies evo looks kinda cool now tho

I just want the entire Pokedex list for Gen 6. I want to see the metagame now and if a mono-grass team would be viable at all. Curse you Quilladin your hideous

I'm torn between fennekin and frokie. North look quite cool. Also grass and electric gets buff grass is immured to all spore type moves and electric cannot be paralysed. Steel loses its resistance to darks jd ghost. Also meowtic is kinda a stupid name :/

Monos are never gonna be viable in metagame unless its mono specific tier, in which case psychic and water are the best two atm

I showed the rumored list of Mega evolution to a friend and he pointed out some stuff to me. Does anyone notice that the background is that of Microsoft Paint. Also I kinda got excited when I saw the list and there was no extra row to the list denoting Gen 6 mega evolutions. My bad guys, I got really excited.

I wasn't really talking about monotypes. I was just stating some improvements to types. How now my jolteon doesn't fear paralysis. There are gonna be a lot of meta changes.. Lets just hope weathure doesn't dominate again...

I'm kinda annoyed that Dark has gained a weakness to Fairy and got no buff so to say. But it also now means that Sabeleye and Spiritomb no longer resist everything.

Oh wow lets not all discuss pokemon at once guys, chill. Its only pokemon...


So what does everyone think with the new fwawie type, will it change the metagame for better or worse with the immunity to dragon, can switch into an outrage without fear of taking heavy damage.

I'm not sure you can truly predict how the metagame will be affected till it actually comes out, cos it depends which Pokémon are fairy type and how good they are. I imagine it will effect the metagame quite a lot, as the dragon type is basically being nerfed, so it will be interesting to see the results.

I think it will also give poison a chance to return to the game since it was only gengar, crobat and tenta who were actually used and even then they didn't carry any poison type moves, and since it only really effected grass it was pointless to have unless the move was named toxic.

I'm not gonna lie and say I'm not anxious about the Gen 6 metagame. But predictions are useful. All though Game Freak has been holding out on us and is unusually tight-lipped about the game thus far. Ugh Fairy type. I guess they just added that type to match the egg group. Steel types and poison types get a new advantage with the coming metagame. Taking reduced damage from fairy and doing super effective back is helpful more so to poison. Fighting types take a hit due to the new weakness. Oh, just realized, poor Scrafty takes x4 damage from Fairies. So does Hydregion now that I think about it. I was hoping to grab the gym spot for grass with this gen. It might be possible though. I'm very hopeful.

Mono teams arent good anyway, sure in their respective tier, but in any other tier they are never gonna compete like a normal team. Fairy type is gonna be trouble for dragons like Dnite and latis but they are still gonna wreck. Look at what they do to steel and they are still resisted to it.

Moving on idk how no one is goin crazy about Mega-Scizor, arguably one of the best pokemon of the game with the highest usage stat getting a boost. Its mega just might go uber. Genesect is also getting one and hes a damn monster, that can wreck just about every pokemon it wants to with little weaknesses. Download makes him epic strong and with a even bigger boost hes gonna rock ubers hard. If he was faster he can use any item he wants.

I might just start to play ubers cause of them 2.
