The League

I'd like to thank everyone for their hard work at pushing to becoming a gym leader! We now have a full Pokemon League!!! Some didn't make it and others lucked out, but it was great battling everyone for their test and best of luck with your gym!

On a side note as the looks of it with our Elite 4 it will pretty much be staying the same.

Finally, now all we need is a champion...

and hopefully the gym leaders stay active...lol over the coming months I will become inactive, due to important exams, but I will have a word with chris about my badge, I will stay gym leader for now though...

as long as we know and only thing though i need to talk to tommy and masterlolo about being more active when people are on >.<

Does the order of the Elite 4 matter? They don't need to start over if they lose. I think they should battle in whatever order they find the people to make it easier on the challengers.

Also for the harder to find gym leaders/elite 4 challengers should post a challenge on the gym/elite 4 post so a time can be set up for the match. Especially relevant since we have different time zones among the members. Any major problems finding them should be reported to the admins so the issue can be resolved.

i still think frozone should be champion (HES THE MOST ACTIVE ELITE FOUR!)

being the most active elite 4 has nothing to do with being champion..

being the champion is the first person to collect all 8 badges and beat the elite 4, no exceptions.

so even if chris willed frozone to be champion it couldn't happen...

but as for the running for the champion, it seems to either be Frozone or Zboy atm unless we get a wild challenger to appear..

But it wouldn't be done by voting. It would be done by whoever is first to beat all gyms and the elite four (assuming that people stay around long enough). Voting is illogical because it doesn't necessarily reflect who is the best battler, i'm not doubting anyones skill but all they need is proof that they are the best battler.

Another question I have though is will the champion be limited to one type or not, or if they should have the majority of their team one type and then have Pokemon similar to their major type e.g. if the champion had a dragon team (ik so original) would they have 4 dragon types and then maybe two dragon like pokemon would that be acceptable.

Anyone who beats the gyms and elite 4 is a champion. Not sure if we need an actual position for it. Although a Hall of Fame would be nice for those that beat the league.

well the forum hasn't gotten to the point where there have been two champions..

but i would say if we did have a champion and someone did challenge them, the could say if they wanted the champion spot, or just have acknowledgement of being in the hall-o-fame and in the champion group...

Reshi sorry to burst your bubble but i cannot be champion id rather be just acknowledged as being able to beat the league. if i am in the e4 i cannot be champion too lol

I dont feel a champion spot is really needed. I mean if it's not monotype is just a normal battle nothing special. If we did have one maybe should be someone who has done more than just beat the League. Someone who kicks butt in tournaments and is all around flat out good. Hall of Fame should just be for beating the League.

Reshiram stop spamming here with naive comments, saying "he should be champion because he is active" is just silly. A champion has to earn his/her spot by beating the league not based on someones opinion.

I agree that a champion isn't needed. A hall of fame is a rather good idea. A champion would just be a regular battle non mono team. And any battler matched in skill could defeat him.

Now if someone was the champion i could see you having to go all the way through the E4 and defeating him to be hall of fame. But as of now the bigger things to worry about is the extra spot of GL, someone's gotta be up for it.

Another thing is when there is an E4 challenger what happens if you beat 3 of the 4 E4? Do you start over from beggining. Well that and Gen 4 and Gen 5

So my final thought on this is no champion. Just An E4 and 8 Gym leaders. And if someone could reply with some insight.

Well i think the gerneral rules for elite 4 is that you have to use the same team for every battle, and there is nothing about losing you have to start over... expecially if it is hard to find a certain member would get fusterating i can imagine.

I believe, i could be wrong, all the elite 4 are now equiped with 5th gen and 4th gen so there is no worries.

As far as I know the challenger doesn't have to use the same team but if they do then Chris/Gabrante would have to put that in the rules so people would know.

However it would be pretty hard to make a team that follows the supereffective rules for all 4 elite 4 in one team >.<

all this talking...gawsh...if you think someone shoudl be champion, thats your opinion, that person has to prove he/she is worthy enough, but yea anyways I would like to try out for elite four is it possible, or do I have to obtain all gym badges, if someone could let me know would be great and if that's the case, I would rather just go for a gym spot since easier , unless there arent any gym spots left :L

err i thought there was 2 spots, it says on the home page and chronos gym topic is locked. so i think theres 2. also, you have to beat all gym leaders and elite fours to become a champion, right? correct me if I'm wrong

Chrono isnt losing his spot so like i said, there is ONE spot. and yes all 8 badges, and beat all e4 to get champion status

word has it that politoed stepped down or something coz a couple memebrs told me water AND fire are now avalable
