It seems very balanced, the only real suggestion i have is evolve the pikachu into a Raichu because it has more speed and power and make sure that Blastoise knows an ice attack (otherwise Lance is going to be a huge pain).

ok im pondering what starter i should pick when i get black for my birthday (i plan ahead like this a lot) now heres what i know

most fire types are fast and hit hard but have low defense

grass types have high hp and some (like venusar) are "walls" so to speak

and water is the more balanced of the 3 starter choises with good balance between all stats

could you possably stear me in the right direction of my choise?

Alright, Torchic will evolve into Blaziken and have a large attack stat but only a mediocre speed which is why its a godsend that he got speed boost from the dream world. Mudkip who evolves into Swampert has high HP and good attack and defences however the dreamworld ability isn't great. Treecko who evolves into Sceptile has very good speed and is by far the quickest starter and will have decent attack and special attack stats. It's dreamworld ability is decent, not great but not as bad as Mudkips.

I would personally reccomend Torchic due to its better ability making it one of the most OP Pokemon in the game and would stay off Dreamworld Mudkip due to its awful ability. But it is your decision so make your pick and hope you don't regret it.

Oh, sorry didn't know which starters you were talking about. This changes everything.

Snivy is the quickest of the three starters and has decent attack and defence stats. I really like his final evolution Serperior (I kind of have to do if its on my signature). The biggest problem with it though is its shallow movepool, without hidden power you will find it difficult to have a very diverse moveset.

Tepig is personally my least favourite of the Unova starters, although it has a wide movepool, good physical bulk and a high attack stat but it didn't attract me. You may think differently and it can be good in battles though.

Oshawott is the balanced one of this gen. It's not that quick nor bulky but it has a good attack and special atttack stat. It's move pool is fairly shallow and I highly reccomend having Aqua Jet on it because it is too slow otherwise.
