Red beat Kanto's Gym Leaders and E4.... but he has failed into becoming the Pokemon Master....
Gold beat Johto's Gym Leaders, Kanto E4, Kanto's Gym Leaders, and Red... but he also failed into becoming the Pokemon Master...
Ruby and Sapphire beat Hoenn's Gym Leaders E4 and Steven... but they failed into becoming the World's Best Pokemon Master.
Diamond and Pearl conquered Sinnoh's gyms and brutally owned Cynthia and that Uber Garchomp... but they failed into becoming the World's Best Pokemon Master.
Why did they fail? After all, they beat the Elite 4 and Champion! But that's not all to the game...
After they beat the Elite 4, they were invited to attend to a Castle in the Sky. After being flattened and dominated... I deemed them unworthy.. Red's Pikachu died to my Umbreon, Ruby and Sapphire's Swampert and Blaziken died to Spiritomb and Heracross. Diamond and Pearl's Torterra and Infernape died to Lucario and Tentacruel.
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is not the world of cute pokemon where the Pikachu somehow kills a Golem. Not the world where that lvl 100 blaziken owns the lvl 60's of the E4. This is cold hard battling where you EV train and breed (or sav, personally idc) your pokes. I invite you all to the Castle in the Sky where I will accept you as general students (tutees must show exceptional promise) and teach you the arts of battling. To help new Padawans that opt not to sav, I will offer these starters: Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip.
