| so what starter are you going for at the moment?  I personnaly like the grass snake, but the fire one is just calling me, but i may go water since most people dont like it! but tsutaja for now tho! | |

| My thoughts with the 5th gen starters are pretty similar to the thoughts I had when I first saw the Sinnoh starters. I don't really like the water one, the fire one seems okay, and the grass one is cool. Once I got my Diamond game, Turtwig remained cool (and became awesome once he evolved into Torterra!), Chimchar remained okay, and Piplup sort of grew on me after a while when I was finally given one. Somehow, I don't see myself ever liking the new 5th gen water starter - it really is ugly... And, I can't imagine its evolutions being any better! The fire pig looks like it could be interesting once it evolves, but for now, I'm definitely choosing Tsutaja, the grass snake starter.
Strange really... In the first 3 generations, and before D/P/Pl, I always chose the water starter (though I did choose Cyndaquil in SS). Because of the 4th and 5th gen starters, it would seem that grass types are my new choice in starter pokemon, despite grass starters (with the exception of Sceptile) being completely disregarded previously... | |
