Eww...swine flu..

Swine flu is in california now (YIKES!)...I don't want to die at a young age =( like 150 people already died from this flu...blame this on pigs The swine flu is probably going to spread to other states too so beware...

Ive heard about it...a few people at air ports may have it in my country. But ive heard its in Califonia and a few people r in Califonia on this forum...But I'm pretty sure its not as bad as they make it sound.

There are some people in England with it, but I don't think it's likely to spread much more anyway. Just like the Bird Flu.

There's no people affected with it yet where I live either... Also, like Mercury says, they're just making it out to be worse than it is... Apparently, it's just like a normal flu so it's unlikely we're all going to die from it XD

Like the bird flu incident a few years ago, each country will contain it and stop it from spreading and in a few months, there will be no more Swine flu.

all swine flu is, its just normal flu....they have a cure for it and there making a vacine all the diffrence between swine flu, flu and bird flu is, is that it swine flu comes from pigs, bird flu comes from birds and flu is all rounded. and the people who died did not get treatment and/or are young children like babys or infents. Swine flu isn't thats scary only what 15-20 people died in mexico and a baby from america? there are alot of people infected and i know its not pleasent but its just a normal every day flu.....that they dont have a vacine for thats it. i dont know why people are so scared. If you catch it you go to the hospital they give you medicine they put you in the ICU (flu is still technacly dangerous anyone can still get it) and they cure you. it may be a long drown out process and painful but in the end you can be cured......sorry for spelling btw

my brother said that the doctors can't really cure you...your body has to fight it off by itself...the medicine just helps you but it doesnt fully cure you

Well in any sickness you fight it for yourself with the help of medicine. You font really need medicine to cure most desises medicine helps.

Hit the nail on the head. There's an outbreak near where i am, in London. There's no reason to be scared - 150 people died in Mexico because of squalor conditions. to put it into perspestive, over 35million people die of ordinary common flu every year around the world. This is for a number of reasons: Old age, very, very young ages, like newborn babies whose bodies can't fight it, and of course the poorer places in the world without proper sanitary conditions, soap, and obvs medicine. Swine Flu is only different because of it's origin - (pigs/swine). There's really no difference. Watch the news!

You know, i dont rly get why a whole bunch of ppl are pretty worried about this since im not rly am.
More ppl each year die from differant things a year, and know tht something like this is on the news, places where its spreading around, why worry even more these days? I say you should'nt let this bother you, but for some ppl i know thts hard to get rid of.
If we dont think about it, It will eventually go away. They'll find a cure, end of story.
Main thing is not trying to get sick. so im not gonna let this time bother my life too much and still live normally.
