Okay I want to make a great Pkmn team and that includes EV training. I read rayquaza's how to EV train manual, But what exactly is EV Training and how does it help you in battle. Thank you

EV or effort vallues are invisable stats that pokemon get when they battle each pokemon can earn 510 total so most people train to get 255 in two stats. example a special sweeper Infernape would be EV trained with 255 in sp attk and 255 in spd. http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/file/925602/48969 this link will teach u more about it just check it out and if you EV train right then your team will become stronger
