Pokémon Mystery Dungeon

As some of you may know, the newest Mystery Dungeon games (Gates to Infinity) will be released in the US on the 24th March, and May 17th in Europe. I'm kinda intrigued as to what your thoughts on the games actually are. Personally I love them, and I'm really looking forward to the new game. I find the storylines are far more involved than those in the main series, and the concept of actually being a Pokémon rather than its trainer is an enjoyable one. Saying I actually prefer them to the main series could be a tad too far, but they are by far the best spin-off games of the Pokémon series in my opinion. So what do you guys think?

I love the mystery dungeon series and I'm really glad that i just recently got a 3DS for the new one. I really loved the first two and appreciated the seconds plot. I'm excited for the new one but I don't think i will get it immediately as I have about 8 exams to revise for over the Easter holidays.

amr I assume you mean a real time battle system rather than a turn based one. I can see why it could be good, but there are a lot of things that would have to be changed to make the game fair, otherwise certain Pokémon would be unfairly good I imagine. Which is why I highly doubt anything like it will ever be released tbh

Just got the game and its actually pretty good story wise so far. But the fact that most of the pokemon in the game are from gen 5 and that you cant pick from any starter made me sad. Wanted to be cyndaquil :T

I can't imagine that will change too much gameplay wise though. I'm glad it's good story wise, now I really want to get it

well you better hurry then cuz theres a free dlc dungeon but it wont stay free for long.

I can't get it till it comes out in England, which isn't till May, so I imagine we'll get the same thing but when it's actually released over here.

That makes sense. Well the dlc is pretty much a level where theres tons of money everywhere but there are also alot of powerful sleeping pokemon that are tough to beat. Btw, golurk is HUGE in this game! xD
