New electric pokemon

Does anyone know of any new electric pokemon coming out?

Why would there be new electric Pokemon coming out? If you're wondering if there are in HGSS, there isn't unless you call the Notch-Eared Pichu and the Pikachu-colored one Pichu new..

Sasuke, I know how you feel... It'd be nice to see some new pokemon come out in the near-ish future. I'm after more ground types (eg. a fast special attacking one). I think that some types, like electric, and even fire, are in need of more viable competitive battling pokemon...

Hopefully Gen5 will bring us pokemon that counter steel types right now since theres quite a lot of strong steels (lucario, scizor heatran) with more electric and fire and ground types then =]

And gen 5 coming out is almost guaranteed, the matter is when.

Once they've gotten the release of HG/SS over and done with, perhaps they'll announce a Gen 5 release date. It's hard to tell how long until Gen 5 will be out but it'd be nice to think that it could be (at least in Japan) within a year.

And yes, I don't think we need any more steel types. Considering steels came out after electrics and fires (steel pokemon came about in the 2nd Gen), there are many more steel types viable for competitive battling than there are electrics and fires.

i hope gen5 add another ghost, dragon and electric poke and thefast special attack one sounds cool

I hope there are a few more Bugs >.<

There are currently loads of bugs... it's just that most of them are outclassed by stronger, more powerful pokemon. Perhaps they will give us a new OU bug in the 5th gen.

I do think we need more dragons though. Having only 6 fully evolved dragons which aren't in the uber tier definately limits monotype dragon teams...

I think it's kind of guaranteed they'll add at least one dragon type, but you must remember that the competitive community of Pokemon is the minority. Therefore, the creators of Pokemon pretty much care nothing about us. Their target market are children who know nothing about EVs, IVs and the rest of them.

What I'm really hoping for though, is a non-normal type Rapid Spin. Maybe other types that are non effective to other types would be nice too. Such as an electric type rapid spin, blocked by ground. A ghost one, poison one etc.

And theres waaaaay too many bugs already >_>..

I mean a stronger Bug, not one of the stupid pathetic ones =/
