| I have restarted my platnium game and trying to use pokemon i have never used before. its been difficult picking the last two, ground and fire types, and thanks to chris's advice i know have a ground type picked out. all there is left is a fire type. i have breed and breed a bunch of fire types but its difficult to choose between them so im looking for a little feedback. im going to skip movesets, ivs, evs and natures cuz theres no need to get to deep into this cuz this team is just for in game. the choices are Charizard Magmartor Typhlosion Arcanine Blaziken please dont say infernape cuz i use it for competive batteling all the time | |

| a charizard has nice speed and spatck with makes starightforward and simple blaziken and magmortar hit hard, but theyre kind of slow (magmortar is more fire moves while blaziken gets sky uppercut) arcanine is disappointing and typhlosion is like charizard without the flying moves in the end, i pick charizard, but im biased | |

| Well if it's for ingame I just simply use my favourite Pokemon to make it as enjoyable as possible. =], So my first suggestion would be your favourite one, but if you want a strong one then Charizard is a pretty good one | |

| I would have to say Charizard as well based on ixion's reasons - you may notice the usefulness of the extra speed. Then again, Boy has a very valid point saying that you should use your favourite pokemon. Most pokemon do well in-game (providing they are at the right level) so there won't be too much difference between any of those you have listed so you probably should go for your favourite and see how it does. | |

| Congrats on finding a solution. Slaking is a cool pokemon (except its ability but it does have good stats!) and by not having a fire type, you free up a space in your party for another pokemon.
