In search of Rayquaza Forum's 8th Gym Leader! The tournament for a Gym Leader spot is finally here!

Note: I know the Type Tournament hasn't finished yet but all remaining Type-tourney battlers should be unaffected by this tournament.

As many of you know there is a Gym Leader spot available. Due to the fierce competition between many members fighting for this last spot I have decided to hold a tournament for it instead so that every member who wants to become a Gym Leader will have a fair chance at becoming Rayquaza Forum's next Gym Leader!

If you would like to participate in this tournament and try your luck at becoming a Gym Leader, post your Friend Code and Type below.

Normal
Ghost
Psychic
Steel
Water
Ice
Grass


Rules:

Since this is a tournament for the next Gym Leader the rules to be followed will be the GENERAL GYM RULES. Please take time to review these before battling.

In addition, all battles will be 6 VS 6, LEVEL 100 SINGLE. I re-iterate that ubers are not allowed. For more information on ubers, please see the TIER LIST. In addition, all 6 pokemon must be at least part of the type you are going for.


There will be 8 tournament places available and these will be distributed on a first-come-first-served basis. The tournament will consist of 3 rounds and the winner becomes Rayquaza Forum's next Gym Leader!

I will endeavour to make the type match-ups as fair as possible for as long as I can throughout the tournament. Lastly, Good Luck to all entrants!

Lugia is an uber because of its moveset, typing and above-average powerful stats. Therefore, you can't use Lugia, or any other ubers in Gym battles as they give an unfair advantage.

What type did you want to try out for? Also, if you are trying out, be sure to post your friend code.

Also, all battles are lvl 100 single which means that on wifi, they will all be lvl 100 despite them being lvl 40-70 in-game. Lugia still isn't allowed...

I am working on a team (will have to do some major trading of some of my extra shinies), so please let me know when I have to have my team ready.

Dark is not one of the available types. Please read all of the opening post before you reply to tournaments.

Is it really plausable to post this up and expect to have everyone ready and done in five days??? Just saying, if it is to go smoothly, you need time to arrange everything, I mean, you may only get the last participant tomorrow, and he will only have one day to prepare. Postponing to a later date would probably benefit both staff and participants.

It took two days for me to get my team ready, its not really hard. I think thats all who will sign up, since everyone else is either a gym leader or elite four.
