| Okay, so it looks like the new people don't understand about 'reviving old topics'. We'll just put it this way. Old topics are topics that either no one has posted in for a long time or are topics that a user has posted but is no longer active (or is banned). Breeding and some trade threads such as the Pokemon Dispenser are exceptions. edit: I guess Art threads are okay too. I can't really explain with my own words so that's about the best I can explain about an old topic. The point is, I just wanted to tell you new people not to revive old topics because I remember when I first joined this place I revived old topics not knowing that no one would reply back >.> Okay, follow this one instruction. Click on a random category (Art, Pokemon Discussion, General Discussion, etc..) It will shows you all the topics in under that category (the really old topics will be gone). It shows the names of the people who started the topic and it also shows the last time someone posted in that topic. If someone hasn't posted in a thread for at least two weeks, it's considered a old topic I guess. So, let me sum it up.
Newcomers, please know this: DON'T REVIVE OLD TOPICS BECAUSE IT IS POINTLESS AND THERE IS A HIGH CHANCE OF NO ONE REPLYING BACK IN THAT TOPIC. Just a little heads up. Hope I helped. :] --pn

You shouldn't delete them. Locking them would be sufficient.

| I agree with Soccerryle - locking (and where applicable, archiving) topics is sufficient.
Just to add to this topic a bit, all members should have the initiative to avoid posting on topics which haven't been posted in for at least 2 weeks. The staff will endeavour to at least lock old topics (where needed) but with so many topics, the members should also make an effort as pn says.

| Deleting is so much easier than locking and archive. You're pressing 2-3 buttons less. | |
