| PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THESE ARE ALL RUMORS, THERE IS NO CREDIBLE, SOLID EVIDENCE YET. This is information I found online that I wasn't even looking for, was somehow in my recommended on YouTube. This 'idea' would explain the new eveelution. Also info on Mewtwo having - Spoiler:
two new forms, Mewtwo X and Mewtwo Y.

Fairy will be a new type. It is weak to Poison and Steel, immune to Dragon, super effective against Dragon, Dark, and Fighting, and Fire and Psychic-type Pokemon take half damage from it.
Sylveon is Fairy-type. Some older Pokemon will be reclassified to Fairy, such as Mawile (Steel/Fairy).
Mewtwo has two new formes, not just one. Both are activated via items.
The professor’s English name is Patrice. (PJ’s Note: Although it’s not the name of a tree, it is a masculine French name and sounds kind of like PA-TREE-SS)
The Starter final evolutions are Fire/Psychic, Grass/Fighting, and Water/Dark.
The first Gym is Bug, the second is Fairy, and the fourth is Fighting.
A few attacks will be dual-typed.
There will be a new type of battling style, “Sky Battles”, that Flying-type Pokemon and Pokemon with Levitate can participate in.
You will be able to see a Pokemon’s EVs at a certain in-game facility. You will be able to boost the EVs through mini-games. It will take about two hours to get one stat to max EVs.

New move: Belch a Poison-type attack with a base power of 120 but can only be performed if the user is holding a berry and the attack consumes said berry
New move: Draining Kiss a Fairy-type attack which has a base power of 60 and heals user for the same amount that it damages the enemy for.
Mewtwo will have two new forms because if you check the source file of the picture on the japanese movie website, its document is titled "m2x" - which is a shortened version of "Mewtwo X" which is the form in the new movie.Now "Mewtwo Y", which will be the second form, has yet to be revealed.
The new Panda bear pokemon has an new ability, where if you send him out in battle it lowers the opponent's "X". Which is similar to Arcanine's "Intimidate" which lowers the opponent's "attack". X and Y stats will play a new role in the game.
The upcoming event Mewtwo for 5th Gen Games comes with two moves it normally doesn't learn, Heal Pulse, and Hurricane. Heal Pulse in 6th Gen is a Fairy and Psychic Type move. If you trade this Mewtwo to Pokemon X version, it will unlock a certain scenario in the game (once you reach that point) where Mewtwo's form will awaken to Mewtwo X - which is version exclusive. If you transer that same 5th gen Mewtwo event to Pokemon Version Y, it will become the new version exclusive Mewtwo form which has yet to be revealed. Deoxys will also get two new forms. And Arceus will get a Fairy Type Plate. Jynx, Sableye, Absol, and Mawile all get evolutions as well.

I actually like the sound of Fairy typing, I herd that there were going to be a few changes such as
clefable family = pure fairy
celebi = Grass Fairy (not sure if true friend told me)
Mawille = Steel Fairy (+Gets an Evolve)
Chancey family = Normal Fairy
Sylveon = Fairy
Azumaril family = Water Fairy
xerneas= fairy
Fairy type will be weak to poison and steel. Be immune to dragon. Supper effective against Dragon, fighting, Dark. And Fire and Psychic resist it.
one of mewtwo's new forms will be part Fairy...
These are just some rumors ive heard both from the internet and friends.
Ive also just had a though, pokemon is never going to sound gayer now.... "Hey whats that" "Oh this is my Fairy type its a dragon killer"...

| Ahh I see.. Man these pokes that gets fairy typing doesnt seem to be good pokes. I mean I wouldnt stick like a clefable, celebi or azumarill to counter a dragon, I rather use a steel, but hey I guess they might get something good next gen, gamefreak sure love to surprise us.
It makes sense for fairy to be super effect vs fighting. Fighting type technically have no weaknesses this gen. Flying is non-existent since tornadus is banned (only brave bird from skarm), and psychic attack is really rare. The way fighting type pokemon gets beat this gen is because of their second typing like lucario, terrakion, breloom where someone would use a fighting or ground attack vs terra and luke and fire and ice vs breloom.
Thankfully mono-fight pokemon such as Machamp and conkeldurr are not that fast so latios draco or a rain boosted water attacks should take them out. If they are fast then we have a problem.

| I've been hearing some lols about rumoured some more fun, it seems Fairy type has become widely accepted as the new type and Appernatly in an interview Hiro hinted at Fairy type by accident, don't know the actual quote but if I find it or anyone else does please..
There will also be some evolutions jinx sableye absol or on the list to get evolutions.
Kavos will have the biggest region for Pokemon so far, meaning this game will have the biggest regional poked ex, some have suggest half will be brand new Pokemon, the other half will be old Pokemon with evolutions.
There is rumoured to be another eeveelutions one to pair with fairy as usually eeveelutions come in a pair, high speculation for dragon.
Being based in France you will now be able to run from a trainer battle, as to keep respect to the French culture. | |

| Hitmonlee is garbage, it dies to all priority attacks... and since its so frail it dies to almost every attack, so technically its weak to every attack... And it gets walled by every physical wall known to man e. glsicor, landorus donphan hippo skarm etc.....
Fighting type is good but it doesnt mean all fighting pokemon is good. | |
