| I'm not sure if you are yet aware or not, but PETA (pro-Animal organisation) has attacked pokemon and wants to ban it from America (so far were safe everywhere else), they said the message N gives in Black and White makes it clear that pokemon is a bad influence on children and it promotes cruelty to animals! (ridiculous), I don't know if they have played the game or not, or they are just trying to argue something that is most likely not there, but they seem pretty adamant about it at the moment. Furthermore, one of the leading directors Joe Bartlett has said there is no difference between a dog fighting ring or a Rooster fight and pokemon, you capture them, train them and battle them. They made a parody of black and white, to gain support and show you the cruelty and true meaning behind pokemon. http://features.peta.org/pokemon-black-and-white-parody/enjoy. so your veiws and opinions?

| Well I played through the whole game, and quite frankly it was somewhat amusing how they completely miss out the fact that all they care about in the animé is looking after their Pokémon, and also the fact that in game almost every NPC tells you how well you look after your Pokémon etc etc. But basically this site says everything that I could say with a lot more, and basically makes the PETA look really stupid. Which they do anyway at this point, protests against Pokémon have never succeeded before http://www.kimsites.net/pokemon/index.html | |

| oh wow... These people must not have anything better to do. Anyways, I agree with merc. People keep saying how much they care for pokemon and they pretty much ignored that. | |

| In that gameplay picture you linked, did Ash go Mike Tyson and try to bite Pikachu's ear off? Then jab an icepick into the back of his head? The hell... That'd be a sick game, Resident Evil style Pokemon. | |

| It is true allen, but i don't know, do you think pokemon might have some element of animal cruelty? You could argue Ash used pikachu against sabria knowing he would lose. | |

| PETA really did screw this up, they completely missed the point of the anime and the main focus of the games, co-operation between trainer and Pokemon. | |

| For those blissfully unaware, PETA has continued its attack on Pokemon and now other Nintendo Franchisees, releasing new parodies of popular games such as the last one has less to do with attacking nintendo but it still references mario.. Also Nintendo has had to say was “Nintendo and The Pokémon Company take the inappropriate use of our products and intellectual property seriously.” Thats all that has happened so far... Hopefully Nintendo will sue them | |

| It's a good thing i dont swear cause there is alot of words that come to mind here Anyway, i doubt they will suceed and if they do they are gonna have a full scale revoloution to deal with Oh, and have a look at this: http://www.peta.org/features/the-hobbit-unexpected-cruelty.aspxI find it interesting that only PETA are complaining about this are they the only animal protection group out there? Heres another odd thing. If over 27 animals died, why didnt they speak out earlier to stop more deaths? Noooooo, they had to wait till the premiere, just to ruin sales. It's kinda late now to do anything about the deaths. Suspicious don't you think. Then there is also the fact that Peter Jackson, Warner Bross and all the producers deny this. The person that played frodo in the original LOR, said he never saw animal cruelty, and 50% of animal scenes were made by PC. Finally, there is the fact that they say that the animal handlers that made these accusations were fired a year ago hope this was interesting | |
