2011 Gym Leader Wannabe Tournament


Info:

As many of you know there is a Gym Leader spot available. Due to the number of members fighting for this last spot, I have decided to hold a tournament for it instead so that every member who wants to become a Gym Leader will have a fair chance at becoming Rayquaza Forum's next Gym Leader!

If you would like to participate in this tournament and try your luck at becoming a Gym Leader, post your Friend Code and Type below.

The tournament will consist of 2 parts:-

(1) Within the first part, members who chose the same type will battle each other to ensure that we only have one participant for each type in the second part of the tourney.

(2) Within the second part, participants will have a set time to battle each of the chosen 'Gym Testers' who will make evaluations of each participant, giving them each a 'score'. At the end of this stage, the scores will be added and a winner will be chosen.

The Gym Testers will look at the participant's choice of pokemon, movesets, held items and strategy (including how the participant counters their type's weaknesses) whilst making their evaluation. The Gym Testers will also view each participant's team via the Trade facility after the battles.

Dragon
Rock
Ice
Grass


Rules:

Since this is a tournament for the next Gym Leader the rules to be followed will be the GENERAL GYM RULES. Please take time to review these before battling.

In addition, all battles will be 6 VS 6, LEVEL 100 SINGLE. I re-iterate that ubers are not allowed. For more information on ubers, please see the TIER LIST. In addition, all 6 pokemon must be of the type you are going for (dual-typed pokemon are allowed).

Round One Battles:

Battles may take place in any order. Once battles have taken place, please can the participants inform me of the scores and the winners either by replying to this topic or sending a PM so that the lists can be updated.

You will notice that where there are 3 partipants for one type, each participant battles the other 2. In the event of a three way draw (each of the 3 participants winning one battle each), the scores of the battles will determine the overall winner for that type.

The first round deadline will be Saturday 19th February 2011. Please PM your opponent(s) to arrange a time to battle. Also, please refrain from changing your names during the first round. Thank you.

AK47, any participants choosing the same type must battle first to eliminate the other(s). There is no point in the designated testers battling and ranking two ghost teams.
