| if you arent using action replay, cloning like in emerald isnt really hacking, its more a glitch. but youre still exploiting the game, and some people dont like that | |

| I think with the availability of Wifi Trading, cloning isn't a very big deal as it's logical to want to keep your own Pokemon which took long periods of time to train. I remember my first Wifi trade, it was my first ever EV trained Pokemon, an Absol. I knew nothing about cloning and foolishly traded away my first ever decently raised Pokemon (I didn'y IV breed but it had decent IV's, 29 in Attack and 27 in Speed I believe) without cloning it for a copy for myself, to this day, though not as much, I do want my Absol back just to... well, have it, since it has sentimental value. Although this anecdote is really irrelevant, I just wanted to say it, but it does show that cloning shouldn't really be considered a bad thing.
Also, since cloning is so common these days where everyone is able to attain information on how to clone so easily, with a few keywords in Google or Youtube, I believe cloning via AR is a hack, while cloning via GTS is a glitch, but both are accepted by most of the Pokemon community.
And yes, I have cloned many times via GTS. | |

| You can clone two ways? Well is the action replay one allowed here to battle with becuase it's not like you get an advantage you get legit stats and all but you are hacking I guess. | |

| Well in today's Pokemon community, I believe its fair as long as it passes these rules: - The Pokemon is obtainable within the boundaries of the game.
- The only intention of your "hack" is to speed up the process of obtaining the desired Pokemon.
- You does not pass these Pokemon off as to be raised from within the means of the game.

| Whatever I know half the people out there that clone don't waste 30 minutes trying to clone a single pokemon would you? Just use the AR it's easier and it's not considered hacking because your not using it for breaking battle rules like giving it max state and such. So there for I really wouldn't consider this hacking I also wouldn't consider fast egg and fast hatch hacking either because once again your just speeding up the process as long as your not using the AR for illigal purposes IE: max stats
Thank you that is all | |
