Pokemon Drawing Tournament!!

So in my art thread, A.O.1. and I kind of wanted to see who is better at drawing...I decided that it's no fun with just us two competing against each other...haha so anyways, whoever enters this tournament has to draw a Pokemon. Everyone must draw the same Pokemon and we will determine what Pokemon to draw by running some sort of poll. This is kind of like a POkemon tournament. Everyone who enters draws something for the first round. Then the members of this forum votes to see who should go on to the second round and so on. I was thinking about having the finalists in the last round draw a Rayquaza because after all, this is Rayquaza Forums. No tracing allowed or it will lead to disqualification. Please sign your artwork so we know it is your drawing and please color. Shading is optional. And for those of you who signed up and don't have a camera, you must either try to borrow one or just drop out from the tournament..If this one is successful, there is always another opportunity. Sign up now! By the way, I haven't really decided on the prize...If you guys don't really care too much about winning a prize and you just want bragging rights, that's fine with me. The first 8 people can compete.

Rules seem sound enough to me. I'll get Merc to help with the camera stuff, but everything else will be my own work. In other words, I'll enter. Let's have fun with this!

Alright, I'll have a go. It won't be a camera image though, cos we'll scan it.

It's okay if you scan or do whatever, just as long as you post your picture somewhere for everyone to see...Let's have the members first decide what we should draw.

We all have to draw the same thing so the members here can compare to see who did a better job...lol though

ooo can i judge it and maybe boy and chris and we will or i will make a fair judgement on who was better.......or public voting......plz say i can judge......and not public voting.....

Either way, you need to ensure there's no bias in the judging/poll/whatever.

Why don't we start with drawing a simple pokémon, then as the competition moves into further rounds we draw harder pokémon? e.g. first round you draw something like Pikachu or Rattata, and then you move onto things like Blaziken or an Eeveelution, then finish off with some of the legendary pokémon. Just a suggestion.

i'd be happy to be a judge =]. And i agree with Rialys, starting from simple things to draw and getting harder as the rounds go by.

iif me boy and chris judge then you can be safe to know that there is no biased polls so that its fair......

Cool! I wouldn't mind being a judge! It sounds fun! Also, I agree with the 'easy pokemon first round, gradually getting harder' idea as well.

This should be a fun competition!

Soon. Here, let's let the mods decide what we should draw for the first round, have the admins decide for the second round, and on the third round, the remaining contestants must draw a Rayquaza. So mods and admins, think about what we should draw and please post it here. You guys must decide on the same thing. Thanks.

The mods have decided, that for the round of this drawing tournament, the three starters (all of them) of the GSC era are to be drawn in order to pay tribute for the upcoming Gold and Silver remakes. The starters may be doing whatever the drawer pleases.
